Workshop: Weaving rainbow together
The GENDERDOC-M Information Centre is pleased to invite you to take part in the series of community art workshops called ‘Weaving rainbow together’ taking place in the Cocoșul Roșu* space (Chișinău, 79 Șciusev Street). The art workshops on creating a big rainbow panel woven from plastic bags are carried out every Saturday beggining September 5th and ending October 3rd. They are aimed at producing a community art object symbolising the LGBTQ community by the collective endeavour of LGBTQ people and allies. The rainbow panel woven from plastic bags will be presnted in Ocotober within the Coming Out Days event.
Workshop #1 takes place Saturday, September 5th, at 16:00 – 18:00h.
Workshop #2 takes place Saturday, September 12th, at 16:00 – 18:00h.
Workshop #3 takes place Saturday, September 19th, at 16:00 – 18:00h.
Workshop #4 takes place Saturday, September 26th, at 16:00 – 18:00h.
Workshop #5 takes place Saturday, September 3rd, at 16:00 – 18:00h.
Location: Cocoșul Roșu, 79 Șciusev Street (behind Alexei Șciusev Memorial House)
Participation is free.
*Cocoșul Roșu is a space for educational activities, art workshops and courses, professional training, dialogue (presentation, information), promotion and professional support. It is an alternative space accessible for artists and creative people.
